John Pickering

Chairman of Little Lever Urban District Council: 1927-28

Died: Little Lever 1 August 1940.

Collier. He worked at Fogg's and Ladyshore Collieries.

He took a prominent part in the organization of the Miners Union in Little Lever and was Chairman of the Little Lever branch during the 1926 strike. 

He was also at one time President of the Little Lever Co-operative Society.
