Corn and flour dealer, Winter Hey Lane, Horwich.
In 1921 he retired to Blackpool and his brother took over the business. He later returned to live in Chorley.
Councillor 1898-1913.
Member of the Reform Club.
He was a keen sportsman in his younger days and played cricket for Horwich.
Congregationalist - he was Chairman of the Trustees of Lee Lane Congregational Church until his death. |
